September has finally arrived and that means the gift sets and tins are due to be released! We have already gotten the SpongeBob Gift Tin and the others will not be far behind! There are a few conventions left for this convention season and a few other surprises as well! Enjoy the bright beautiful pez colors of Fall!
SpongeBob SquarePants is celebrating 25 years on Nickelodeon! In honor of this silver anniversary, Pez has produced a Pineapple shaped gift tin which includes the 2025 molds for SpongeBob, Patrick and Gary (with 2024 Viacom copyrights). An exclusive Silver SpongeBob is included in the gift tin to celebrate the anniversary. The new mold for Gary has a different paint job with much smaller irises and pupils, comes on a light blue stem, and the mold does not have the toothy white smile that was present on the previous versions of Gary. The Silver SpongeBob and Gary pez are only available in the gift tin in the USA. This Anniversary set is available in the Pineapple tin or loose to help you save on shipping. This anniversary set of SpongeBob joins the other SpongeBob release earlier this year which included the SpongeBob on blue stem and Patrick with arms as well as a Nerdy SpongeBob only available in polybag or on card. These are all available now in the Pez Collectors Store!
The Orange PEZ Presenter girl is the newest limited edition exclusive released by Pez. The Orange Presenter girl has an orange hatband on the pillbox hat, she has reddish orange hair and comes on an orange stem. She is mint on the Team Orange Limited Edition card with 3 packs of orange flavored pez candy. We have a few in stock now in the Pez Collectors Store.
Pokemon Mini Pez Clips are available now. The twin card has a mini Pikachu and mini Pokeball Pez with clips to attach the mini pez to back backs, a purse, beltloop or wherever you want! Hello Kitty Mini Pez Clips are also in stock now. The mini Pokemon and mini Hello Kitty Clips with pink bow and cream colored dots and a mini Unicorn pez come on the twin card with 6 rolls of pez candy!
Tiana is a Disney Princess from the Princess and the Frog film. She has been revised for 2024 and now has arms on the sides of the bust mold, the neckline of her dress is much spikier and she is on a green stem rather than the yellow stem of the original Tiana PEZ. The new Disney Princess Tiana is in stock now.
Disney Princess Moana now has her own Pez assortment. The Moana pez set includes Moana, Maui and Hei-Hei. The Moana Pez Twin Pack features Moana and Maui in a great Disney Princess Moana graphics box, along with 6 packs of pez candy. These are in stock now in the Pez Collectors Store.
European Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary Boxed Set is back in stock! These adorable 50th anniversary Hello Kitty Pez have a purple glitter crystal full body standing Hello Kitty with arms wide open and she comes in a very nice European Gift Box to celebrate the 50th anniversary.
Donald Duck is celebrating 90 years! Pez produced an exclusive 90th Anniversary Crystal Donald Duck Pez with a printed stem that says Disney Donald Duck 90. He is the 2024 revised mold and has a glittery crystal head. We have these available now in the Pez Collectors Store.
The European Summer Santa Pez has joined the US version in the Pez Collectors Store. The pez are the same, but the cards are different with the USA version that says Christmas in July while the European version says Happy Holidays. The European Summer Santa comes with Nashi Pear, Banana and Lychee flavored pez candies!
Amy Rose has joined Sonic, Knuckles and Tails in the Sonic the Hedgehog Pez Assortment. Amy Rose is available now.
The Crystal Sonic Pez Gift Box is due to be released September 1 and this set will feature Amy, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles with crystal heads in a 4 piece gift box package with Sonic the Hedgehog graphics. The crystal version will be available only in the 4 piece gift box set. We expect our order to arrive soon!
Minecraft PEZ are also scheduled to be released September 1. There is a standard assortment that includes blue stem Steve, green stem Creeper, pink stem Pig and light green stem Alex. The assortment will be available in polybag or cards. Also, Steve and Creeper will be available in a twin pack and Alex and Pig will be available in a separate twin pack. These do not have any print on the stems. Minecraft Twin Packs feature Steve with Creeper and Alex with Pig.
The Minecraft 4 Pez Gift Box features Steve, Creeper, Alex and Enderman with various tools or weapons printed on the stems. Enderman is only available in the Gift Box and Pig is not included in in the 4-pack gift box. These should also be released September 1 and we expect our order to arrive soon.
New Transformer Pez are coming from Europe and these are completely different molds that those released in the 2015 Transformers set or the or in 2016 Robots in Disguise set. They will have the Transformer logo printed on the stems and the set will include Bumblebee, Megatron and Optimus Prime.
The Connecticut Council on Problem Gambling has contracted with PEZ to have a puck produced to support their efforts in educating and assisting those with a gambling addiction or problem gambling. The puck has an outline of the state of Connecticut and says Responsible Play The CT Way. The stem is printed with their website ResponsiblePlayCT.Org and the card has the same logo as the puck. The Candy Brick Mascot is waving a flag that says Responsible Play! and the back of the card says, “Before you choose to gamble, know the risks. Visit www.responsibleplayct.org for safer gambling strategies.” The dispenser promotes CCPG, Connecticut's only 24/7 gambling addiction hotline that offers support via phone, chat and text. We are attempting to acquire a quantity of these dispensers and will list them as soon as possible.
We are getting excited about the 11th Pez On the River Convention in Winona, MN, September 12 – 14. The Dressing your Pez contest this year has the them “There’s no place like Winona”. I can’t wait to see the fantastic imaginative entries for this! We always enjoy every bit of the Pez On the River convention and we look forward to seeing many of you there! Matt and Holly Rider have offered to host The IN. Crowd Pez Gathering in Fort Wayne, IN on October 12. Please be sure to note the date correction – it seems that the second weekend of October worked better for most people! This gathering takes place each year and rotates hosts and locations. Pezylvania 14 will be held Saturday, October 12 in Kutztown, PA and will now be hosted by Laura Adams and Peggy Brooks in addition to Sue and Dave!
