It is hard to believe that October is at an end and there are only two months left in the year! It seems to have gone by in a flash! There have been many new pez releases through the year that have kept us busy and added colorful happiness to our lives! While new pez releases may have slowed down, there are still plenty of new Pez licensed items coming out to add to the pez collection! As we move from October to November, we wish everyone a very Happy Halloween!
The limited edition exclusive Franky Pez Candy Brick Mascot was available for a short time and has been retired. We have a few of the USA Franky Pez left in stock and have more of the same dispenser on a different card coming from Europe. We expect the European carded Franky to arrive within a few weeks.
New 2024 Transformer Pez Bumblebee, Megatron and Optimus Prime have arrived from Europe. They have the Transformer logo printed on the stems and the molds are completely new. We have taken a photo of the 2015 Transformer set, the 2016 Robots in Disguise set and the new 2024 Transformers so you can compare the various molds side by side. The 2024 European Transformer set is in stock in the Pez Collectors Store now!
Pez International has released a limited edition exclusive I Love Austria Pez Candy Brick Mascot. The Austrian Mascot is similar to the 4th of July Independence Day Mascot released in the USA, but rather than Red, White and Blue, the Austrian Mascot is Red, White and Red, striped in the order and colors of the Austrian Flag. This new pez is on its way to us from Europe and we expect them to arrive within a few weeks!
A very special limited edition of the I Love Austria Candy Brick Mascot was produced for attendees at the Austria China Connect Conference in Hong Kong, but only a few hundred of these were produced. ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA is the trade promotion organization of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, and the Austria China Connect Conference is an opportunity for Austrian companies to connect with businesses in China. The Advantage Austria exclusive pez will be very hard to come by!
Each year a new Wawa pez truck is released and 2024 is no different. The new Wawa truck has just been released at Wawa convenience stores. This year’s design features a green background with the Wawa goose, presents, ornaments, candy canes and other holiday images and a stamp-like image that says Wrapped in Wawa Cheer. Interestingly, in the past since 2013, the Wawa trucks have included a dated edition in the corner of the image. The first Wawa truck from 2010 and this year’s truck are the only ones that are not dated. The Wrapped in Wawa Cheer truck will be available in the Pez Collectors Store soon!
PAMP Suisse released a new 2024 Christmas Polar Bear boxed set with 30 grams of pure Silver in 6 x 5gram candy bricks. This edition is limited to 3,500 pieces worldwide. We have just a few of these left in the Pez Collectors Store!
The Christmas Elf and revised Nutcracker should be making their appearance in stores just as soon as Halloween is over.
An exclusive Happy Holidays Pokemon Pikachu was released to celebrate the Christmas holiday. Pikachu sports a red longtail stocking cap with white trim, and the stem is printed with candy canes and Happy Holidays. These will be in stock soon in the Pez Collectors Store!
Among the many licensed items, the Teeny Tinies Pez Display is one of our favorites. Teeny Tinies PEZ Mini Display comes with 4 tiny Pez Treats dispensers, two display boxes that are quite similar to the POP! PEZ displays, 4 mini Sour Pez Candy Packs and 4 mini Pez Fruit flavored Candy Packs, plus mini Pez and Sour Pez Refill blister packs and a bonus Display shelf. This can be set up as an awesome display or the pieces are great for using in various crafts and jewelry making! The Pez Display set is available now in the Pez Collectors Store!
Three different Pez Treats Building Blocks sets allow you to create your own model of a pez dispenser. These sets include connecting blocks to build 3D Pez constructs of the Pez Treats Burger, Taco or Cupcake. The package indicates that the blocks are compatible with leading brands which we presume to mean LEGO brand blocks. These sets are available now in the Pez Collectors Store.
A new PEZ flavored Lip Balm and Keychain set is available from Taste Beauty. The Strawberry flavored Lip Balm fits into the back of a PEZ Candy Brick Keychain! What a fun way to always be sure you have some lip balm available! We have just a few of these in stock now in the Pez Collectors Store!
Valentine’s Day Pez for 2025 are due to be released beginning November 1. A pair of adorable Pez Valentine Bears and a new crystal hugging heart pez will be released. The Valentine Bears will also be available in a twin pack with a heart shaped window for an extra special Valentine’s day gift!
Wrapping up conventions for 2024 was the Fall VPC event! Besides the fabulous tours and comedy, an auction took place to raise money for the VPC Scholarship fund. Part of the fundraising is the sale of a NEW 2024 gold cupcake Scholarship Dispensers, while supplies last. Visit the VPC website to learn about this year’s scholarship recipients. Election Day is coming on November 5 and then a new Presidential term will begin January 20, 2025. Who will be president remains to be seen but these fun Candy Poopers commemorate the past two Presidents! Biden and Trump Political Poopers are available now in the Pez Collectors Store. A few 2025 dates have been set for Pez Conventions and Gatherings in the USA.
First up is the 3rd ATX convention being held April 2 – 5, 2025. Host Ryan Rimmer with assistance from Abby and Ross Broussard is hold another epic convention in the heart of Austin. Visit www.atxpez.com to get registered and Keep Pez Weird!
We can’t say much yet, but be sure to hold the date of May 3, 2025 for a great centrally located Pez gathering! The hosts have indicated that they will be sharing the details and information very soon. We don’t want to spoil their launch, but want to be sure you hold that date open for a ton of pezzy goodness!
The 10th Maryland Pez Gathering will be May 17, 2025 according to host Katie Chrzanowski who is planning far ahead for this anniversary gathering. See www.marylandpezgathering.com for all the details.
An official date has not been announced yet, but we can expect the Michigan Pez Convention to take place the third week of June. Hints at this year’s theme are intriguing – the Michigan Pez Convention post shared this image as the only “clue” before the theme is announced.
Pezamania 34 will be magical! It will be held in Cleveland, OH July 16 – 19, 2025.
